Good News | Ruike Equipment’s products have been included in Jiangsu Province’s Catalog of Key Promoted New Technologies and New Products.
2026-09-04
Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officially released the “Catalogue of Key New Technologies and Products for Promotion and Application in Jiangsu Province (2026).” The self-developed product “First‑Stage Oxidation Reactor (Bubble‑Bubbling Plug‑Flow Type)” from Changzhou Ruikai Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ruikai Equipment) was successfully included, with its innovative capabilities recognized at the provincial level.
This selection is both a recognition and an inspiration. Moving forward, Ruikai Equipment will seize opportunities, accelerate the commercialization of its innovative achievements, bring high‑quality equipment to an expanding range of application scenarios, and continue to inject robust technological capabilities into the chemical industry’s drive for high‑quality development.
“Two New” technology products
New technology refers to technologies that, by adopting novel technical principles, innovative design concepts, and advanced process equipment, achieve significant improvements over existing technologies in one or more areas—such as enhancing production efficiency, reducing manufacturing costs, improving the production environment, elevating product quality, and conserving energy and resources—thus attaining practical applicability and contributing to enhanced economic benefits.
A new product is one that is developed and manufactured using novel technological principles or innovative design concepts, or that achieves a breakthrough in one or more aspects—such as structure, materials, or manufacturing processes—or exhibits significant improvements over the previous version, thereby markedly enhancing product performance or expanding its functional capabilities, and contributing to improved economic benefits.
Horizontal bubble column reactor
The internal distributor of the horizontal bubble‑column reactor is configured horizontally, ensuring a more uniform and stable bubble distribution in the main bubbling reaction zone and eliminating the nonuniformity that would arise if the distributor were located in the bottom arch region. The reactor is equipped with an arch‑zone gas distributor to promote bubbling within this region, thereby increasing the gas holdup of the liquid phase, balancing the density difference between the arch zone and the main bubbling reaction zone, and preventing circumferential recirculation and backmixing across the reactor’s cross‑section. Additionally, the reactor features inlet and outlet flow‑directing plates for the liquid phase, which redirect the horizontal velocity head of the liquid as it enters and exits the reactor. This mitigates the impact of horizontal kinetic energy on the uniformity of the bubbling reaction zone during liquid entry and exit, thus averting horizontal recirculation and associated backmixing.
1 Applicable Scenarios
Ethylbenzene oxidation, cumene oxidation, cyclohexane oxidation, and isobutane oxidation.
2 Application Cases
It has been successfully applied to the ethylbenzene oxidation reaction in POSM units. The largest reactor currently in operation measures DN9400 × 43680.
